Litterfall Mercury Monitoring Initiative


The National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP) has a new litterfall mercury monitoring initiative to complement the Mercury Deposition Network (MDN) monitoring for mercury in precipitation and the Atmospheric Mercury Network (AMNet) monitoring for mercury in air

Fukushima Dai-ichi radioactive fallout detected in NADP samples


The National Atmospheric Deposition Program and the United States Geological Survey collaborated to monitor NADP precipitation samples for the presence of radioactive material in response to the Japan Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Station incident that occurred on March 11, 2011.
